धातुओं की वह श्रेणी जिसमें धातुओं को उनकी क्रियाशीलता के आधार पर अवरोही क्रम में व्यवस्थित किया जाता है, सक्रियता श्रेणी कहलाती है। विस्थापन अभिक्रिया के माध्यम से विभिन्न धातुओं की अभिक्रियाशीलता का परीक्षण कर इस शैली को विकसित किया गया है। इस श्रेणी में सर्वप्रथम सबसे अधिक अभिक्रियाशील धातु को लिखा जाता है। उसके बाद मध्यम अभिक्रियाशील धातु को लिखा जाता है। अंत में सबसे कम अभिक्रियाशील धातु को लिखा जाता है।

The series of metals in which metals are arranged in descending order of their reactivity is called activity series. This method has been developed by testing the reactivity of different metals through displacement reaction. The most reactive metal in this series is written first. After that the medium reactive metal is written. Lastly the least reactive metal is written.

7. आयरन (Fe)
8. लेड (Pb)
9. हाइड्रोजन (H)
10. कॉपर (ताँबा) (Cu)
11. मर्करी (पारद) (Hg)
12. सिल्वर (Ag)
13. गोल्ड (Au)

The following is the arrangement (activity series) of metals in descending order on the basis of their reactivity–
1. Potassium (K)
2. Sodium (Na)
3. Calcium (Ca)
4. Magnesium (Mg)
5. Aluminum (Al)
6. Zinc (Zn)
7. Iron (Fe)
8. Lead (Pb)
9. Hydrogen (H)
10. Copper (Cu)
11. Mercury (Hg)
12. Silver (Ag)
13. Gold (Au)
